THE BRITISH CAR FESTIVAL
Anyone who owns , or is interested in British cars, should be sure to attend the
British Car Festival. It is sponsored by The British Car Union, and is held at Oakton
Community College-Des Plaines Campus, Des Plaines, Illinois. It is always held on the
first Sunday of September. This year it will be on September 13, 2009. I have been
attending the festival for the past nine years, and it has grown every year. Last year
there were over 650 cars there. All British marques are represented, and welcome.
British motorcycles too. It is a full day of fun, and more cars than you can see in one
day. Vendors are on site, with new and used parts, door prizes are given away to
entrants, and awards are given by "popular vote". Don't miss it...You won't be
